126. Sith Academy - Raezyr

Anya

"Master, my name is Anya Tachi. I'm from Corellia. My father worked in a hyperdrive factory, but he was a drunk and missed work alot. My mom was cantina waitress, but she had a large birthmark on her face so only the real dives would hire her.

"My parents never wanted kids. They barely had enough creds to support my father's habit, let alone feed another mouth.

"Anyway, when I was about 7 or 8, I guess I correctly predicted a small earthquake. Well my parents got all excited and went through a big hassle and got me all excited, telling me I was going to be a Jedi, and that I was going to go to Coruscant and travel all over the galaxy and go on big adventures and stuff.

"Well they came.... and I was all packed and ready to go with them. Then they said I wasn't strong enough and I was too old, and that training me would be a waste of their time.

"The rejection of the Jedi was basically a prison sentence for me.

"I remember my mom begging them to reconsider, and my dad actually tried to pay them. 100 credits each, he said," she shook her head.

"It was then that I realized just how little I meant to my parents," she said as tears of anger began to build in her eyes at the memories.

"A couple of years after that, I began to.... 'develop.' My parents made me work in mom's seedy cantina, washing dishes and serving customers. Within a year, the owner had convinced my parents to hire me out as a "serving girl" in a brothel. Serving girl was their polite euphemism for 'whore in training.' They planned to 'promote' me as soon as I turned 16.

"Around that time I learned of of the Sith and of Darth Revan and Darth Malak and their war on the Republic. The only part that really mattered to me was that they were the enemy of the Jedi and the Sith were recruiting.

"It wasn't until I was 17, almost a full year after my "promotion" that I was able to save enough money to runaway and pay for transport to Korriban.

"When I got here, there was only one person in this building. I told him why I was here and he told me he'd train me.

"He worked with me for about 2 weeks, then one day he tossed me this light saber, told me to keep the Academy safe until he returned.

"The next people to show up nearly a year later, other than a few Czerka officers from Dreshdae, were Trychon and Raezyr."

She knealt down before Eiron, tears of anger pouring down her face. "Please, my Lord, don't turn me out. Train me, let me have my revenge on my parents and the Jedi for what they did to me, and I will be your servant forever."
