170. Sith Saga: Proving Grounds - Trychon

Trychon knocked on Raezyr's door and walked in without waiting for a response. He was still a bit worked up from a night of action and yet inaction at the same time.

"Hey there, Raez. Fancy a bit of sparring?"

"Sure thing, Trych. I could work off some energy as well."

They sparred without pause for about an hour. Trychon's form in general had obviously improved, but it was pretty obvious that Raezyr had an advantage when it came to quickly calling on the Force to put his opponent off balance, which he did numerous times.

When they were both dripping with sweat, and had sat down, Raezyr gave him his thoughts.

"You're doing a much better job of controlling your strikes, but you're not staying focused on the force. If you focus more on the force, you'll be able to anticipate the battle at hand better, and you can also use to interfere with your opponent. You should also be able to cancel out any attempt by your opponent to push you around with the force."

Trychon seemed a bit frustrated. He had tried, but his focus slipped every time he pressed his attack. "How do you stay so focused?"

"You have to really focus on your hate. Pinpoint it, and keep it in your mind."

"What do you focus on?" Trychon got up and stretched out his aching muscles.

"That doesn't matter. Pick something out and pinpoint it."

Trychon looked around. "I hate lamp."

Raezyr turned to him "Do you really hate lamp, or are you just saying it because you saw it?" With his last word he reached out and grabbed the lamp using the force, and threw it in Trychon's back.

Trychon felt the tug on the force, and turned quickly while extending his blade. He sliced the lamp in half and smiled at it landing on the floor. He walked out of the room with the smile on his face still and repeated "I hate lamp."

He ran into Anya in one of the common rooms. She was visibly upset. Trychon figured he knew why. He asked her anyway.

"I just can't figure that asshole out! Every corner I turn, he's a complete jerk to me."

Trychon didn't really look at her as he started to walk off, but responded "Women are hard to figure out."

She yelled at him. "What did I DO to deserve this crap?"

As he opened the door to his room, he laughed at her. "I meant him."
