320. Pirates....... YAR! - Raezyr

Nearly two and a half hours later, Ari had finally had enough and fell asleep. Raezyr untangled himself from the bedsheets and blankets strewn about the floor. He got to his knees, taking a last look at Ari's body, still glistening with sweat as her chest moved up and down with the rythmic breathing of drunken, exhausted slumber.

He looked about the room for his clothes as he stood up and assessed the dissaray that was her quarters. Moonlight streamed in from the window where the curtains had been pulled down from the wall. All the flimsiplast, datapads and datacards that had been on the desk were strewn about the floor. Chairs were knocked over, the matress had somehow been stripped bare and wasn't even on the bedframe anymore. He didn't even remember when that had happened.

He stepped into the refresher once again and noticed that the shower curtain and rod had been ripped from the wall and was laying on the floor, and most of the supplies which had been set neatly on the counter were now also strewn about.

Quietly he closed the door and turned on the lights. Looking into the mirror he inspected the deep red gouges in his chest and back where she had dug her fingernails in. He grinned at himself in the mirror. Now THAT was fun!

Shutting the lights off and slipping back into the room, he found his clothes and slipped them on, then stood near the door. Okay, NOW I'm ready... he thought to Trychon.

They slipped out their respective doors at the same time, meeting in the hall. As they worked their way down to the commons area where they had seen a computer terminal they sent thoughts back and forth.

What the hell were you and Ari doing in there? You guys sounded like a herd of banthas in a porcelain shop.

Let's just say that both Ari and I have will have some war wounds to remember this by. Raezyr chuckled despite himself, soliciting a finger to the lips from Trychon.

They rounded the corner and entered the desereted commons area. Trychon stepped up to the terminal and began.

I can't believe how easy this is. They don't have very much security on this at all.

Raezyr was watching the hallways. Apparently they don't think it's necessary to secure their layout maps and supply invoices.

Coruscant: Jedi Temple - Jedi Talla - Raezyr

The grin the Nautolan were famous for spread across her face. It never ceased to amaze her how he always knew when she was in the room. She always thought that one day she'd get used to the Miralukan style of "sight" despite their lack of visual organs, but so far that hadn't happened.

"I'm doing good, my friend," she responded. "Dey don't mind too much, as long as I just sit and meditate. I save da swimming for after da visitahs are gone for da day.

"I've come to recruit your help on a mission dat Mastah Taisun just gave me," she said, her voice taking a serious tone. "I need your help in tracking down da Sith apprentices dat murdered Nylan and did dis to my leg," she said, pulling her cloak aside and revealing the metalic artificial appendage.

Jedi Caecillius Kostek - Mirk

Caecilius put his saber away as he turned and walked up to Nal Talla. "A terrible shame. But at least we did not lose you as well." he paused for a moment examining the leg. "Naturally I will assist you to the best of my abilities. We will bring those murders back here to face the council... I assume you already have leads here on Coruscant?"

Jedi Nal Talla - Raezyr

She knew she could count on Caecilius for his support. He'd always been there to help her and Nylan when they had been Younglings. And even through their padawan years, he had helped them when they had struggled with their training, being a few years older than them.

She just wished she could admit to him now about how she truely felt. She had nearly admitted to that Raezyr guy that she hated him. Even now, when she thought about him, standing over her with his blazing red blade, she could feel the burn deep down inside.

She quelled the feelings quickly.

"Yes, I do. Nylan's test into Knighthood was to infiltrate and bring down da Revenant crime ring. She had told me she was going to investigate one of der suspected warehouses on da night she she died.

"I tink we should start der, den we can go to da Revenant's HQ. She told me it was supposed to be in da back of a cantina called da Rusy Speeder. I can't tink of anywhere else to start," she informed him.

"I was tinking we could check out da warehouse tonight, den maybe go to da cantina tomorrow, what do you tink?"

He had said bring them in to the council, but he was doubtful of the councils ability to act intelligently. After all they had sent a padawan to do a mission more suited for a knight above his own level, and it had cost Nylan her life and Nal her leg. On top of this it had also lead to the death of many troopers and civilians. But then again, everyone makes mistakes...

"I am ready when you are."

"Good. I'll meet you at da speedah bay at 2300 den," she said and left.

She headed back to her room in the Temple after grabbing a bite to eat so she could rest up.

She hadn't thought about what might happen when and if they finally caught the Sith, but somehow she doubted that it would end with them standing before the Council.

When it was time, she headed for the speeder bay to meet Caecilius.
