341. Pirates....... YAR! - Trychon

Trychon felt Raezyr's movements and thoughts in concert with his own. He didn't have enough experience in this sort of battle to make a huge advantage of it... he just used it to make sure that he pointed away from the scuffles that Raezyr was in. It took him a minute to adjust to the speed of the fighters they were facing, but he eventually began to lead them well.

In a matter of minutes, as they left the cruiser behind, the fighters' numbers were cut in half... and a little more again. They seemed to take the hint or become discouraged with the increasing distance between them and their hangars. They weren't receiving any support fire and the cruiser just listed to the side with its thrusters and half the decks' lights off. They headed back to the relative safety and left the fighter and smuggling vessel to escape.

They congratulated each other briefly over the comm, and Trychon left the guns to meet Raezyr after he docked. After they were sure that the damage was minimal and the seal was good, they headed up to the cockpit to get ready for the next leg of their journey.

Dianna gave Raezyr a hug as he entered and then slid into the co-pilot chair to allow Raezyr his normal seat. Trychon sat behind them and turned his chair to put his feet up on the dash. "Looks like you worked Raez over pretty hard there, Dianna..."

"If he wasn't so stubborn..." She quipped back. "Anyway... I've set us a course to get us out of system, then a few small jumps before we head back to the lair. Time to put this hell behind us and then figure out where to go from here. My contacts aren't going to be happy... but they'll be even less happy if I manage to link them to Riv-ars..."

With her last comment, Raezyr hit a button that sent them off into the distance and eventually back to the base on Hoth.
