They had in fact missed dinner but Dianna took them back to her room, where she was equipped to cook up a quick, but large, meal. They made several plates full disappear in a rather short time, and then at the behest of Trychon and only with their promises to go get rest when they were done, she brought out a few of her finer ales for them.
With the two Sith happily fed and satisfied with drinks in hand, Dianna admitted to why she invited them back to her room rather than feed them in the commissary. She wanted information about what happened, and she wasn't sure how much they'd tell her in an open setting or if any of their admirers came around.
"Not that much to tell, really." Trychon said through another mouthful of food. "Honestly... I don't think we were even in any sort of a trance. Just... very distracted."
"I don't understand." Dianna stared at him as he grabbed another roll.
"No, I think he's right Di. I didn't sense any sort of control exerted either. I suppose it's slightly possible. It's more likely thought that we were simply enthralled. Imagine meeting with a memory of a great smuggler, who was telling you of how many great things you could achieve."
They gave her much shortened versions of some of the stories they were told, but then at her insistence, they didn't stay long before heading back to their rooms to meditate and get some rest.
Trychon entered into his room and changed into some of his night clothes. Sitting on the bed, he closed his mind and began to replay in his mind some of the things that the embodiment of Lord Var had told him. He didn't remember passing out.
In the morning though, he would distinctly remember the suddenly much stronger visions of a man calling to him. That he WAS to come to him and that he WOULD be helping him.
