Nal and Caecillius contacted the Jedi Temple and informed them of what had transpired. The Council instructed them to continue searching on Nar Shaddaa, as that was still their only lead on the Sith Apprentices, but Caecillius had been correct. Their cover was blown and despite their best efforts to make contact with the Exchange, the next several weeks were unsuccessful.
They spent the rest of their time on the Smuggler's Moon attending swoop races and frequenting seedy bars and cantinas, but it seemed as if they were invisible. No one talk to them or even look in their direction.
Finally, they checked again with Taisun, the Catharian Jedi Master back on Coruscant. He informed them on an incident that occurred in the Commenor system possibly involving Sand Iago's ship. The Republic had received information from an informant that a known smuggler and pirate named Dianna Kingsdoom would be in the area aboard a ship matching the description of Sand Iago's ship, the Wasted Rancor.
The ship was captured by the Republic Hammerhead-class Unity, and Kingsdoom had been taken into custody, along with an unidentified male, but a man matching the description of one of the Sith apprentices from the Coruscant massacre somehow got aboard and effected the escape of Kingsdoom. During the escape, a fighter was stolen and used to cripple the Republic cruiser.
The two Jedi reviewed the holo-recordings and security logs Master Taisun had forwarded to them from the Unity. "Dat one is Raezah. I'm sure of it," Nal said, pointing at the man on the screen wielding red and blue lightsabers.
"Are you sure?" Caecillius queried.
"Absolutely. Not only are da blades correct, but I can tell by da way he moves, and carries himself. I'll not be forgetting dat anytime soon," she said determinedly.
"Well, according to the security logs, the informant claimed they had last been seen in the Shogun system. That's Mandalorian territory, but there is a long enough gap in time that they must have made a stop somewhere between Shogun and Commenor," Caecillius surmised. "I suggest we start looking around there."
