280. Hoth: King's Lair - Trychon

Tyrrazapon looked satisfied with his meal. "Just a while. Not too long, of course... and I trust you'd tell us before we crossed that line. We wouldn't want to be an inconvenience... you know... for too long. I guess."

"Naturally." Dianna smiled a little.

Trychon also finished up his meal and spoke out next. "We don't really know who may be looking for us at the moment. We do know we weren't followed. Don't get me wrong... we certainly don't mind all sorts of interesting, either. We just prefer that our interesting come in smaller, more manageable amounts."

Raezyr nodded.

"Plus, Trych here was hurt." Anya said, and was turning to look at him right before a napkin flew up from the center of the table and made an intercept course for her face. She ducked it aptly and jumped up from her seat, about to yell at him when she heard the room erupt in laughter.

She looked down as the crumpled cloth hit the floor, and her face began to turn red; embarrassed at how she'd almost reacted. Then she began to laugh with them.

After they'd sat there for a while and had made some small talk and even a few jokes, the whole room, including Zanz, seemed to lighten up.

"Seriously though, I can't imagine that we'd be more than a few weeks. It'll be nice to try and go through some training exercises again, get some much needed maintenance for the ships, and a few other things taken care of before we try to get our bearings and move forward." Trychon pointed to Raezyr and Tyrrazapon. "Of course, these two are the pilots."

"I've also been wondering about the possibility of getting more than just a little bit of work done." Raezyr folded his arms. "My escape was a bit more hairy than these guys'... so any help you could give us there, or if you could even point us in the right direction on our way out..."

Trychon got up and stretched. "Of course... we don't ask for anything free... we can pay a bit... or maybe trade. Naturally, while we're in your hair, we wouldn't necessarily be adverse to helping with the 'chores' for a fair 'allowance' either."

Dianna followed Trychon's example and got up from the table. "We'll discuss the work around here in a bit. As for the ships... I think we can help you at least to get started. Let us see if we can chase down Delki and Bleetz..."
