286. Hoth: King's Lair - Raezyr

Raezyr spoke, "What do you mean, 'borrow our ship?'"

"Yeah, we just traded you one, plus you've still got several fighters around here," Tyrrazapon said.

"You'll have to exlpain it a little," Trychon said.

"No problem. You can borrow one. Which one do you need?" Anya volunteered.

Trychon, Tyrrazapon, and Raezyr all turned their heads slowly and looked at Anya incredulously. She just ignored their looks. She was about to say something else when Raezyr interrupted.

"You'll have to excuse Miss Eager, here. It seems she's over stepped her bounds," Raezyr said non-chalantly although his perturbed attitude was audible in the undertones. "You see, she only has a quarter-share in one of the ships, and is therefore not really in a position to volunteer their services."

With the look Anya gave Raezyr, everyone was surpised she didn't try to kill him right then and there. She might have tried, but her attempt back on the Rancor and the outcome of their sparring sessions were all that prevented it right then.

Raezyr saw the look, and remembering the lesson on poisons they had studied the day before made a mental note to be careful what he ate for a while.

"It's not that we'd be adverse to letting you borrow a ship, Dianna. We would just kind of like to know what it's going to be used for. You understand," Raezyr explained to her.

"I don't usually give the details of our missions to outsiders, but since there are extenuating circumstances here, I'm going to make an exception.

"I just recieved a job offer which calls for a pickup of a small cargo on Shogun in the Mandalore Sector and then to deliver it on Commenor. It's a fairly small job, with little danger except in the pickup, seeing as it's in Mando territory," Dianna explained.

"Why not wait until your crew gets back?" asked Tyrrazapon.

"That's the catch. It's a rush job. They want the payload on Commenor yesterday, and before you ask, they're offering to pay four times the going rate. They must really be desperate," she said.

"What's the cargo?" Trychon asked.

"They didn't specify other than saying it was six plasteel crates, and we're not to open them. It's not unusual in this line of work," Dianna explained.

The four Sith looked at each other for a moment before Raezyr spoke, "I guess you can borrow the Rancor, unless anyone objects. I just have one condition."

"What's that?" Dianna asked skeptically."That two of us accompany you."

She thought about it briefly and decided that it might be have a good idea to bring along some back up just in case something goes wrong."Alright. You can come. Who wants to go?"

"I'll go," Raezyr volunteered.

Anya had opened her mouth to speak, but quickly closed it. She wasn't going anywhere with that pompous ass.

"I will too," said Trychon.

"Good," said Tyrrazapon. "It'll give me more time to catch up on my blade work. When you get back, I'm taking you down, Raez."

They all chuckled at that.
