Anya walked down the hall, by herself.
She'd shadowed a few guards, but managed to stay out of their view. That was much easier by herself, not that she wouldn't give one of the guards' right hands to have one of the guys with her right now. She could do this... she knew she could... but she wouldn't turn down the help, either.
Her leg was bugging her. If she was in the mood to, she'd smile about the fact that Raezyr noticed that it wasn't slowing her down any... although that may have been different if she was trying to sprint, too. The field work they'd done in the conference room certainly helped though. Maybe she could sprint if she needed to. She hoped she wouldn't be pushed to her limits, but that could happen.
She'd been trying to find this Admiral... this Ralyc Daan. She'd been trying to use her feelings to find him, and she had a general feeling she thought... but it was hard for her to be positive when she didn't know the guy.
She had caught a few snippets of the guards' conversations... and while she had barely heard them and couldn't discern everything they said... she'd heard the Admiral mentioned twice. When she did, it was as though the thoughts of the men had honed her own feelings, and she had a better bead on where to go.
She was getting closer...
