380. Hoth: King's Lair - Raezyr

Aitchkay continued to unload their gear from the ship, while Trychon had brief discussion with Delki and Bleetz about some maintenance issues and restocking the ship. The Hoth crew was still gathered around, apparently eager to hear what THX was like, but Dianna pulled Raezyr to the side a bit.

"I hate to admit this, but I was worried that you might not come back," she said, still speaking in a lowered voice.

Raezyr placed his hand on her shoulder, his helmet tucked under his other arm. "I'll be honest. There were a couple of times that I wasn't too sure I was going to make it back, but the thought of unfinished business here kept me going," he said with a smile.

She smiled back at him. "And just what sort of 'unfinished business' was that?" she asked mischievously.

He removed his hand from her shoulder and grabbed the pack which HK-51 had set beside him. "Oh, you know, we've got a ship to fence, some Republic info to decrypt, and new missions to plan." He tried to hide the smile which indicated his facetiousness, but failed.

She gave a look of mock hurt and punched Raezyr in the shoulder. "And here I thought you were about to tell me how much you missed me. You're a real jerk, you know that?"

"It's why you like me," he retorted.

"I guess I'll just have to give you a better reason to miss me, then."

Raezyr raised his eyebrows questioningly. "Oh? And what will that be?" he asked, but she just gave him a sly, sidelong grin and turned back to the rest of the group.

Dianna suggested they move to the lounge to have a few drinks before supper, as some of the crew seemed to have alot of questions about what they had done on their adventure.

As they headed off, Raezyr noticed one of the younger members of the crew, a young Corellian named Kord, seemed to be like a little puppy dog, following Trychon around. In fact, Kord was even wearing a similar type of camouflage fatigues that Trychon had worn when he first arrived.

Kord seemed to be fairly popular with the rest of the crew, and alot of the younger members hung around with him, including Dek, the young slicer in Dianna's employ. Since their arrival, the group had all seemed pretty excited to have 'real live Sith' walking among them. At the same time, the group had seemed to be a bit afraid to approach them.

They arrived at the lounge and ales were passed around. Kord was the first to toast the successful return of the Triad, and Raezyr was about to point out that only two of them had returned, when Kord and his friends began peppering Trychon with questions about what had happened on THX 1138.

Trychon looked over to Raezyr for help, but he just smiled, leaned back on his barstool next to Dianna and took another sip from his tankard.
