158. Sith Saga: Proving Grounds - Raezyr

Anya followed Raezyr to the nearest holo-cafe which allowed it's patrons to access and browse the holo-net at their convenience. They sat down at a table and began to browse the local news archives, searching for any reference to the group known as the 'Revenants.'

Seventeen articles mentioned Revenants, nine of which were in a series dealing with some medical procedures involving attempts to bring beings back to life. The other 8, however were about the Republic Judicials and their suspicions regarding who was involved in certain heists and other various crimes.

Raezyr and Anya each read the articles, then compared notes.

"There are two seperate articles which mention that a suspect was last seen entering a seedy cantina called the Rusty Speeder down in the lower levels," Raezyr noted.

"And the lead investigator in 3 of the incidents seems to be a human Judicial named Thar-in Vol," Anya added.

"You go see if you can make contact with Vol and get information on the whereabouts of the Revenants, but do not be foolish, girl. Make sure your interaction with him seems accidental," Raezyr instructed.

Anya folded her arms across her chest. "I'm not stupid," she retorted as she rolled her eyes.

Raezyr seemed to ignore the comment. "I will make my way to the Rusty Speeder and investigate there," he paused before continuing, as if searching for the right words. "Neither of us are as strong as we will be together, so do not hesitate to comm if you find someting, or if you need my help.... as I will you."

Anya seemed a bit stunned that he would admit that he might need help, and followed him silently out of the holo-cafe.

As they were about to head their seperate ways, Raezyr stopped and looked down at her through his visor. He gently grasped her upper arm with his gloved hand and spoke quietly, "Eventually you may see what I look like under this helm, but I will decide exactly when and where."

Before she could respond, he turned and strode away, dissappearing among the throng of pedestrians, as she stood and watched.

Just when I think I've got this guy pegged......

Anya turned and headed off on her own portion of the mission.
