185. Sith Saga: Proving Grounds - Raezyr

"Uh, Captain Iago, I think we've got a problem here," the lead man spoke into his comm headset. He listened to something in the earpiece then spoke again, "No sir, just the opposite. There's no resistance whatsoever. You might wanna get over here."

"Looks like you boys are late for the party," Trych chuckled.

"I don't think you're gonna be laughing when Captain Iago and the Chiefs get here," the man who had commed Iago said.

Within moments, Iago stormed aboard the Galaxy Flyer, his Chiefs right behind him.

"What in the name of all that is holy do you think you were doing? First, you're late. Second, I told you to stick to the plan. You know why, numb nuts? Two of this crew were MY MEN!" Iago hollered at them, cigarra still clenched in his teeth.

"You would be wise to change your tone," Raezyr spoke calmly, although Trych and Tyr could hear the cold edge to it.

By this time, Tyr and Anya had stepped out from the bulkhead on either side of the hatch, effectively flanking Iago and his men.

"Change my tone? Who do you think you are? This is my mission and my crew. I'll speak however I want, dumb shit!" Iago yelled, poking Raezyr in the chest with his finger.

"You've killed my men and failed to follow orders. People who don't follow orders don't last in my outfit. Boys, you know what to do." He said and drew his blaster.

In the blink of an eye, 5 lightsabers snapped on and up, deflecting the blaster bolts with relative ease. Within seconds, it was over. Iago's men were dead, and he was on his knees, nursing the stump of his arm where his hand had been.

Tyr walked over to Iago and lowered his thrumming orange blade to his throat.

"You'll pay for this. The Revenants will destroy you for double crossing them," Iago hissed.

Raezyr began laughing. Everyone turned to look look at him as no one had heard him laugh like this. "You are a moron. We're not doing this to double cross anyone. The Flyer will be delivered on schedule."

Bewilderment spread across Iago's face, "Then why did you have to do this?"

"Killing you and your crew may not have been necessary, but it sure was fun."

"You bastards!" Iago snarled.

"Go fuck yourself, Sand Iago," Tyr said and removed his head with a flick of his wrist.

"Anya, please go kill the pilot of the Rancor, if you wouldn't mind," Raez said, still chuckling to himself.

She grinned, "It'd be my pleasure." She turned and hurried throught the hatch to the other ship.

Raezyr turned to Tyr and Trych. "I'll go get us uncoupled, and Anya and I will meet you two in the Ottega system."
