323. Pirates....... YAR! - Trychon

"Fine." Trychon said as he got out of the speeder. He grabbed the parts and walked 4 speeders down to an identical one, loading the parts in the back. He got in the driver seat and plugged his datapad in. It took him moments longer, without specific info about this speeder and its owner... but he had it up and running before long at all. "Better?" He asked.

"Better than walking, at least... I think." Was Raezyr's response as he found the safety harness and buckled down.

Trychon got them on their way. "I find your lack of faith disturbing."

Fortunately, it wasn't a long trip back to their dock and it proved to be an uneventful one. As they pulled in, they saw their order from the spirit merchant. "Jackpot." Trychon noted.

"Let's get the drinks inside." He told Raezyr.

"Are you kidding? Nobody's going to be looking for Ale that's been bought and paid for." Raezyr said incredulously.

"Nobody's going to come looking for the parts either. Not for a week or so, hopefully. Besides... the parts don't need to be refrigerated." Trychon said as he walked to the cases at the base of the ramp.

"Get these parts."

Trychon slumped his shoulders and walked back to the speeder to give Raezyr a hand. They carried it up into the ship and back to the hyperdrive. They left it there and headed back down the ramp. The grabbed their drinks and unloaded what they could into the cooler, the rest of it went into storage.

They were each having a drink and quick laugh when Dianna came back from the cockpit. Her eyes went immediately to the marks on Raezyr's shirt. "You have to be the most injury prone guys I've ever met."

"Uh... just a small entanglement." Raezyr started.

"What took you guys so long anyway?" Dianna asked, turning to Trychon.

"Well, we couldn't just go right in and out... bang, bang... and run off with a hyperdrive, now could we?" Trychon took a drink from his ale. Mmmm.

Ass... Raezyr thought to him.

Dianna looked slightly surprised. "More subtlety than I expected from you two, I guess." She looked at Raezyr again. "Who's speeder is that sitting out front?"

"I honestly don't know." Raezyr said.

See? All's well that ends well. Trychon thought to him.
