39. Outlander Club - Trychon

As they rounded the corner down an alley, Trychon looked for their mysterious companion, but he was gone. They definitely needed to catch this thug to get a couple of answers... and then hope that their new contact made it somewhere safe.

They were closing in pretty quickly on the thug when Trychon tried to get a bit creative. He channeled the adrenaline rushing through his veins from having just cut the friggin' head off of some guy, and he extended his hand towards the thug and tried to push.

The guy tripped and landed pretty hard on his face. He was trying to scramble back to his feet when Raezyr landed a foot in his side, causing him to roll over on his back coughing. Raezyr put a foot on the man's heaving chest. "Ow. Might want to get that checked out."

Trychon caught up with them and looked up and down the street for any friends the guy may have... but they appeared alone for the moment.

"ASSHOLES!" The guy cried out. "You have the wrong guy!" Trychon wondered if this is what it felt to work in law enforcement. How original.

Trychon spoke up next. "I doubt that highly. What can you tell us? What's happened to Deengo? Who was it that followed our friend out of the Cantina?"

The man didn't seem to be calming down. "I ain't telling you SHIT, SITH!".

Raezyr ignited his blade and ran it in little circles next to the guy's ear.

"ALRIGHT!" He screamed. Raezyr raised his finger to his mouth, gesturing for the man to be quiet. The man continued only slightly quieter. "He wasn't lying. I work for the exchange. I don't know much. I just know that the guy you was asking about ran afoul of them a while ago. I don't know what happened, but if he's disappeared, you're not like to find him!"

Trychon coughed and looked at Raezyr.

The man sounded desperate. "THAT'S IT! I SWEAR!"

Trychon stepped up to add a bit of his weight to the man's chest with one of his feet. "I need more. Give me a name of your boss. If you don't know, someone does. Who?"

The man laughed for half a beat. "Your buddy already killed him. You won't learn anything now!"

Raezyr kicked the man in the head and started to walk off as the man lie unconscious. As Trychon caught up with him, Raezyr commented. "He's lying about some generals... but he doesn't know anything of use. Dead end for now. Best we lie low for a few hours and look for a sign of our man who does know something."

They wandered down the shadows of a few streets, making sure they still didn't have company.
