Eiron let the apprentices go, watching them until they passed into the archives, beyond his sight. He was tempted to follow them, but chose not to. They would find what they were seeking on their own, without any help or input from him.
He had to figure out what to do with them, though. They had a destiny, yes, but their futures were still unclear. He could not take them with him: they were too old to develop a proper Master-Apprentice relationship. He was more a guide to them, a trainer, than he was an actual Master.
But he was indeed their Master. There was no question of that.
"Lys," Eiron said into his comm. "Start formulating missions. I need to give these new ones something to do."
"I'm on it."
Eiron pocketed the comm again and then began to mull over what to do with these new Sith. He had to train them, somehow, but quickly. He had his own errands to attend to.
When they had learned enough, he would take them on their first mission. After that, they would be on their own.
