Trychon did a few more tests on the droid before heading back to the common area to relax a little. He pulled out Raezyr's datapad and fiddled with it a bit. As he suspected, he wasn't able to gain anything from his endeavors. He spent some time looking through it though for any sign of corruption or foul play. There didn't seem to be any.
Then he noticed a new file. He missed it at first because the file age was about 6 months... but when he passed it again, he noticed that it had actually been extracted that afternoon. It was a locked file with an unknown key.
He called to Raezyr. When he showed up (newly bandaged) he told him about the file. "It seems to require an outside 'key' to open it. I could try to force it open, but it'd likely corrupt and disappear. It's a smart file... whatever it was that they gave you on Geonosis... it turned itself into this."
"What do we do then?" Raezyr puzzled.
"Well, I would bet that it'll be opened by a transmission from the droid when it's powered up. We probably won't learn anything new until then."
Raezyr thought for a minute. "Temporary dead end. Hmm. Oh well... no rush. Here..."
Raezyr picked up a ration bar and put it on the center table.
"Push." He said.
They practiced force pushing and grabbing for the rest of the evening. They had a few laughs as well.
"You did a lot better when you finally figured how to tap into your emotions better. Mindset is a huge part of controlling the force. You need to feed it and give it what it wants... and then it will give you what you want in turn. I wouldn't worry about struggling with 'pull' so much. You nearly had that last one, and it's a much less instinctive action than forcing something away. In the end... either one can remove an object from the grasp of an enemy well."
They talked for a little bit more about the philosophy and thought behind force use... then Raezyr turned in to meditate and sleep.
Trychon pulled out his datapad and read a bit more on force pull before falling asleep with the pad in hand an hour later.
